Project: Fond du Lac, WI
Ala Roma's old location inside Silica Mall was abuzz with activity, full of customers ready to savor 'Real Italian Food'. The extensive made-from-scratch menu has created a dining destination in Fond du Lac. This growth prompted Ala Roma to create a new location - on the site of the former Country Kitchen on Pioneer Road.
The new Ala Roma caters to a growing amount of customers, with a beautiful new interior to compliment the exceptional food. Fresh colors, contemporary lighting and fixtures create a relaxed atmosphere for customers. Comfortable upholstered chairs, booths and bar height tables accommodate those stopping in for a quick meal, while those who wish to linger can enjoy cozy banquette seating. The expanded seating options easily accommodate both small and larger groups. A new full service bar area featuring 16 beers on tap and the new outdoor patio provide the perfect finishing touches. The bar also features multiple televisions to add to the fun, family friendly environment. For sports enthusiasts, Ala Roma offers all the best sports channels for customers to watch the next big sporting event.
Eric Kurtev of Ala Roma has played a key role in using this opportunity to support local businesses. Fond du Lac firms have partnered with Ala Roma for the extensive remodeling and redesign project. Interior Systems, Inc. (ISI) redesigned, manufactured and installed the seating and décor; architectural services were provided by Stelmacher Architecture. Capelle Bros. & Diedrich, Inc. provided general contractor services.
The 'Buy Local' movement has gained momentum given the nature of the economy, as more consumers recognize the impact and influence of their spending. "It is energizing to see area businesses partner together on this great project", says Lindsey Bovinet, President and founder of ISI. "The same people who work to build this new gem in our community are also loyal customers at Ala Roma. The dollars stay here and strengthen Fond du Lac's economy."
The new Ala Roma is located at 171 North Pioneer Road, just off of US-41and Johnson St at the site of the former Country Kitchen. Call Ala Roma at (920) 929-9366.
