One of my first jobs was at a Big Boy restaurant, where I was hired as a Busboy. In less than five years I was the Assistant Manager, and was being sent to other locations throughout Wisconsin and Minnesota to help open new restaurants and retrain the employees of existing ones. It was during this time that I realized how much of an impact
doing things the right way can make.
Originally at ISI, I was hired as a Cabinetry Worker and spent five years making tabletops, which I enjoyed very much. Then an opportunity to become a CNC Operator came, and although I didn't have any experience at running one, I was given the chance to try it. After a little training

I was running it full time. After a few months, they needed someone else to learn how to program the CNC router and once again, I thought...why not! It took several weeks, but pretty soon I was going back and forth between programming and operating the CNC router. I did this for a few years, and eventually became the supervisor for the CNC Department.
I am very fortunate to have found a job that I really enjoy doing along with working with such a great group of talented and friendly people. I am grateful for all the opportunities that were given to me throughout my career here at Interior Systems, Inc. This truly is "The Greatest Seating & Décor Company In The World."
I'm originally from Fond du Lac, and even though I've lived in several other cities, I'm glad I was able to find my career in the same city I grew up in. Fond du Lac is at the foot of Lake Winnebago, which is one of the largest fresh water lakes in the country. I have spent quite a bit of time on the lake fishing and sailing. I still like to get out fishing when I get a chance, and would like to get back into sailing in the future. I also like to play golf and go on road trips to places that are off the beaten path, which are often more interesting than the tourist destinations.
I am married, and although I don't have any children of my own, I have four stepdaughters that are really great and five grandchildren. My wife is semi-retired, but she keeps busy in her spare time making stylish caps for cancer patients going through chemotherapy. We buy the fabrics from various sewing stores, and then she sews the caps and donates them to cancer centers.
