When I started school at the Art Institute in the winter of 2012, I was immediately captivated with all of my classes - and I still find them all riveting! I started getting involved in school clubs and activities, and was even the Student Coordinator's Assistant for a couple quarters. I tutor my peers in Perspective Drawing, Hand-drafting, AutoCAD, Creative Writing, and a few other subjects. Lately I have been donating old materials from ISI to my school's
resource library so classmates can familiarize themselves with the latest materials as well. Working at ISI has been a dream, I love learning about all the different avenues of commercial interior design, and using what I learn at work in my classes. I still can't believe my luck of having the most encouraging bunch of coworkers willing to help answer questions at any time! There has not been a day where I don't look forward to going to work.

Growing up, I wanted to be a Veterinarian, though I was always interested in interior design, as well. When I was 8 years old, I created some business cards on WordArt and passed them out to my neighbors and friends, officially starting my own pet care business. I learned that being prompt, professional, and organized helped my business grow and to this day, I still cater to some of my original clients.
When I'm not in class or at work I spend my free time cooking, reading, drawing, and cuddling with my 2 cats. I love constant change in my life, so I'm always moving around furniture in my apartment and painting new pictures to hang up. It may seem weird, but I like to imagine a photographer will approach me at any time to take pictures of my apartment for a magazine - so I always keep it "show-ready" just in case!
