From a young age I was intrigued by the world of sales and marketing. As an entrepreneurial 5th grader, I started a side business designing and selling t-shirts to my fellow classmates. In addition to starting my first 'real' job as a clerk at age 14, I became an Avon Representative at the ripe old age of 15. I fondly remember developing special promotions, and going out in my slightly-too-large ladies' business suit to consult with clients and deliver their orders.Within a few months I was awarded the Top 3 in Sales as a new rep in our district.
Skipping ahead several years, I've personally rounded out that experience by becoming a trained vocalist and songwriter, with experience ranging from serving as a soloist with the UWM Gospel Choir, to a backing vocalist for a gospel artist, to director of worship at church.
Painting, photography, and taking in the beauty of the outdoors helps to keep me balanced. I've also been learning Egyptian folkloric dance (go ahead, Google it!)
In 2006, my husband and I became the proud foster parents of our son who is now 22 years old. We also welcomed our first 'little one' on August 16th of 2012. We love our little cutie! He's starting to smile (non gassy smiles) and it's totally adorable! Our home is also comprised of Diesel, a large, affectionate canine (who thinks he is a tiny lap dog), as well as the two cats who beat him up.
