Johnny Malacrida

  • Senior Project Manager
  • I start every morning with a double espresso from the Milwaukee Public Market.
  • I believe laughter is one of life's best medicines.
  • Yes, my legal name really is Johnny and not some American nick-name for Jean-François.

A rather recent member of the Milwaukee ISI team, I was recruited by ISI to handle the Eastern Canada market region. As a Market Program Manager, I coordinate, expedite and facilitate efforts between our customers, the ISI organization and subcontractors to ensure the timely

completion of the McDonald's Canada Destination 2012 program.

I hold a master's in Mechanical and Production Engineering from the University of Technology in Belfort-Montbéliard, France. For eight years I worked in the transportation industry, at SNCF, the French

railway group, in operational positions in factories as well as in functional roles at the division level.

Working at ISI allows me to use my solid project management skills, gained through my previous experience, in a creative environment. One of the

aspects I greatly appreciate at ISI is the collaborative environment in finding practical and creative solutions to meet our customers' needs and expectations. I strive for efficiency and I pride myself in maintaining high customer service because I truly enjoy working with others.

Another aspect I enjoy at ISI is being able to speak French with our Canadian clients. Born and raised in France, I relocated to the United States in September 2009 with my wife Natalie, who is from Milwaukee. We met in 2004 in Paris while she was completing her Master's degree in French (oui, oui!), in a bar perfectly titled, "The Frog & Princess." I grew up in Belfort, a city in the Eastern region of France, called Franche-Comté. Franche-Comté is much like the Wisconsin of France, as we are known for the cold weather and our excellent cheese and sausage!

I am a fan of soccer and continue to support my home-team Sochaux FC by watching European matches at the Nomad on Brady St. I also stay in touch with my French roots by being an active member of the Alliance Française of Milwaukee.

My wife and I love traveling and discovering new cultures abroad. I feel Milwaukee is a multicultural city with a lot to offer. Through my travels and my hobbies, I have been able to meet many new and interesting people and have found my place in the community.

I am someone who enjoys the simple pleasures of life; I like being outside for either work or recreation at my in-laws' farm. I love cooking and sharing a great meal (and wine) with my family and friends. As a Frenchmen with Italian roots, good cuisine is in my DNA!
