I am an artist and designer. I graduated with my BFA in Interior Architecture and Design and a minor in Printmaking from the Milwaukee Institute of Art and Design. I received my MS in New Product Management from the Milwaukee School of Engineering in May of 2013.
I am passionate about a variety of topics - art, design, math,
science, history, business, management, technology, and writing - all of it brings a new layer to my experience. More tools in the tool kit just means more creative options for problem solving.
I have been working in the commercial interior design industry for over 15 years, focusing on Retail and Education projects.
It is an impressively arrogant move to conclude that just because you don't like something, it is empirically not good. I don't like Chinese food, but I don't write articles trying to prove it doesn't exist. -Tina Fey
I live in Milwaukee with my husband, Jim (also an ISI creative) and our two house rabbits, Poncho and Pepper Potts.
Jim and I also love travelling. We have visited Italy, France, England, and many other destinations in the US. We love museums and historic places as well as anything to do with art and art history.
I love Artwork. My favorite media is using upcycled computer and electronics parts in conjunction with all other sorts of "garbage" to create collage type paintings. ISI is a supporter of my endeavors by donating lots of broken or worn out electronics equipment to my supply kit.
As hobbies, I enjoy playing instruments with friends, video games, playing cards, and designing tattoos. I love computers and all things "gadgety."
I'm also a certified HKC (Hardstyle Russian Kettlebells) instructor and practice at Superb Health in Milwaukee.
I enjoy sci-fi a lot, Star Wars being the best thing in the universe! My nerdery continues through being a huge fan of The Avengers and X-Men. My favorite TV shows are 30 Rock, Arrested Development, MARVEL Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. and Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt.
