Larry Erke

  • Wood Products Associate
  • I hold the record of "Longest home-run in school history" at my high school.
  • I'm a gemstone collector; I cut and polish opals from the rough form to the finished form.
  • I was an honor roll student throughout school.

I've been an employee since 5/18/2005. I am a Wood Products and Assembly associate but I play many roles at ISI including training new employees, being a working role model for new associates and being a "go-to guy." I try very hard every day to bring a good

attitude, strong work initiative and consistency with building the best quality product that I can. I believe that there's not a better boss out there then mine. He expects the best from his department which challenges and inspires us at the same time.

You reap what you sow.

I graduated high school in 1997 with 11 varsity sport letters. I was a three sport athlete and still hold several records including Longest Touchdown, Longest receiving touchdowns in one game, Most Blocked Shots in One Season and Longest Homerun.

I'm a family oriented man and my family always comes first. I am close with my 13 year old son and have a good relationship with my sister who's pretty great too. My dad is my best friend, my mom is my rock and I am very thankful for those who are close to me in my life.

I have many hobbies, including collecting. I have a large football, basketball and baseball card collection and also collect old coins and currency.

My main interest is Walleye fishing. I am a semi-pro walleye angler. I fish many Walleye tournaments including The Midwest's Walleye Series; Walleye Weekends Mercury National Walleye Tournament in Fond du Lac.
