I graduated from the Art Center College Design in Pasadena, CA. I began my art career in Editorial Illustration, designing and illustrating for various publications, including: Entertainment Weekly, The Boston Globe Newspaper, Media International, and the Village Voice. My work has been recognized by American Illustration and The Society of Illustrators.
Step Inside Magazine featured an article on my artwork and the process of creating the images. In addition to editorial magazines, I also have shown my work in galleries in New York, Los Angeles and Milan.
Wanting to expand my creative wings, I moved to Los Angeles and joined a creative branding team; developing

my creative skills in branding. I illustrated and designed the current brand position for Popeye's Chicken, winner of numerous design awards.
I then joined the team at ISI in 2005 and have since worked on various QSR
accounts, which included; Carls Jr, Hardee's, Ihop, Burger King and McDonald's.
My true passion is my family. I have been blessed with two beautiful boys, who both share my passion for art. I love to travel to Europe, particularly Italy, my wife's hometown. Italy's historic and artistic beauty is breath taking and can't be found anywhere else. Walking down the streets of these historic towns is awe inspiring.
I was born in the Netherlands and grew up in Vancouver Canada, which may attribute to my love for travel. I was 15 when I came to live in Southern California. Although the warm weather of SoCal is not ideal for winter sports, skiing and hockey are still my two favorite sport activities.
