I started at ISI in June of 2012 in the Décor Department and now work as a CNC Operator/Haterial Handler. My duties are, basically, to keep things running smoothly for the full time operators. Whether it's taking parts up to Décor, retrieving material or operating, I find I'm always running around doing something
which is perfect for me. Since I started at ISI, I've had the opportunity to meet and work with a bunch of good people. Everybody is willing to help out when it's needed, and even though we're busy the morale is always positive. So far my experience at ISI has been excellent and it's a great company to work for.
Be kind. Everyone you meet is fighting a hard battle.
After graduating from Lomira High School in 2010, I attended the Cabinetmaking and Millwork program at Madison Technical College. There we learned everything from milling, gluing, joining, building and finishing of raw materials to drafting, AutoCAD, and CNC programming. I think the most important thing I got out of the program was the message that a good attitude and hard work gets you a long way in the workplace and in life.
After college I worked for a small business in Middleton, WI for a year, installing cabinetry and counter-tops in businesses and residences. I had the time of my life in the Madison area, but decided to move back to the Fond du Lac area.
