I became involved in the millwork and Construction/Remodeling industry early in my career and have participated in many aspects of the business, from sales to production, and everything in between. This has also led me to become the "weekend warrior, jack of all trades" around my home. I have extensive experience designing and managing different types of products and projects and take great pleasure in seeing a project successfully completed, no matter how large or how small. I feel they are all important because they all impact someone.
My current official role at Interior Systems is a Project Manager for our U.S. McDonald's account. I have also worked with our McDonald's Canadian account and our Education accounts. Even though my title has remained the same, different accounts require different knowledge and skills to meet its needs and produce a successful project so my role
is ever changing and there is never a dull moment. I also take an active role in working closely with my peers and sharing information and skills that help facilitate successful projects for our other accounts as well. I do my best to make Interior Systems a success at whatever endeavors we pursue.
Through my many experiences I have found over the years that it isn't so much about what you do as much as how you do it, and the people you impact. We all do many things throughout our life, but I believe the most important achievements are the ones that impact others in a positive way. In other words, it's all about the people. There are many ways to do this, both directly and indirectly. One way I do this is by trying to live by "The Golden Rule", and even if I accomplish nothing more in a day than helping or positively impacting someone else, I consider that day successful.
"Anything worth doing is worth doing well, so always do your best."
I have spent most of my life residing in the SE corner of Wisconsin. We moved around a lot when I was younger and I believe this promoted my being able to adapt well to changes and allow me versatility in dealing with different aspects of life, work and people. I also spent a couple years in the Denver, CO area where I enjoyed the beautiful mountain landscape.
I enjoy playing pool and other activities that challenge personal skills, whether individually or between people. I prefer a fun and casual atmosphere, but don't get me wrong...I can be very competitive when I want to be. (And sometimes even when I don't want to be.)
