I started working when I was 16 and haven't looked back. I have worked in grocery stores, outlet malls, and construction sites. I sold insurance door to door right out of college and even had a job making 200+ cold calls a day in a call center. My favorite job was waiting tables and bartending at local restaurants in the Charlotte, NC area.
My first foray into McDonald's was working for Soft Play, where I helped coordinate the sales and installations
of playgrounds into McDonald's. My contacts made through that experience got my next job as a Sales Representative for a competitor of ISI in 2002.
I learned about the seating & décor business from some very experienced and knowledgeable people. I was the top sales representative for that company for eight years before becoming their National Sales Manager. I was looking for something more when the opportunity at ISI came upon me. I was very impressed
You can have everything in life you want, if you will just help other people get what they want.
with the way the company looked to develop and feature its most important asset, its people. I am very proud to be a part of the ISI family and to be integrated into the productive and creative culture the company has created. All of my experiences have taught me different qualities that help me in my current role as an Account Executive.
The most important skill that I have acquired is being able to listen effectively to what the customers want
and communicate to the internal support teams to get the right product, for the right price, delivered at the right time. In my role, I have to wear many hats (Sales, Customer Service, Design, Project Manager). The diversity the job gives me keeps it interesting and challenging.
I have also been able to see most of the United States over the last 10 years. I am very blessed to have a customer like McDonald's which holds the same values and deliverables as ISI.
Born in Bradenton, FL on January 10, 1975, I am the oldest of two boys and the oldest of 21 grandchildren. I have always been part of a large family and love the drama and experiences that come with it.
I graduated from Palmetto High School in 1993 and received an academic scholarship to Queens College, a liberal arts college in Charlotte, NC. I graduated with a BS in Biology with the emphasis on BS. Obviously, I did not become a doctor since I now sell dining rooms.
I met my wife Missy in 1999, and we have enjoyed our life together ever since. We were married in 2003 at Queens College where we both attended. We subscribed to the work hard, play hard mentality and traveled extensively until we had Taylor, our daughter, in 2009 and Braden, our son, in October 2012.
I have always been involved in sports and it has shown me the value of sportsmanship, teamwork, and competition. I love my wife, kids, and dogs - but I really love Florida State Football.
