As Engineering Manager, I oversee a team of individuals with varying talents. This engineering team supports our production facilities as well as our design and project management staff with production documentation, specification support, as well as work instructions. I earned a Bachelor of Science degree in
Manufacturing Engineering from the University of Wisconsin - Stout in 1993. In my 20 plus years of work experience, I have gained valuable product knowledge by working in a tool & die shop, plastic injection molding plant, and for an industrial temperature sensor manufacturer. support the various manufacturing departments at ISI. Those departments include; steel, fiberglass, upholstery, laminating, and wood construction of cabinetry and custom seating and décor.
I believe the hands on experience I have gained throughout my career helps me develop new product solutions and communicate effectively with our shop personnel.
Growing up in southeastern Wisconsin, I grew to love watching and playing football. I was a three sport letter winner in high school, and played baseball in college at UW-Platteville for a few years, before turning to "coaching". Originally from Waukesha, WI, I now reside in Pewaukee, WI (about a 50 mile trip to the plant in Fond du Lac) with my wife and three children. The kids keep my wife and I quite busy throughout the year with school activities and sports (including football, baseball, softball, volleyball, basketball, and cheerleading).
During my "free time", I mostly enjoy hunting, fishing, and playing golf. I really enjoy the opportunities I get to hunt and fish with family and friends. There is something special about "deer camp" and "ice fish camp" with the guys. I am also a Packers and Brewers fan, and enjoy going to games when I can. My family and I also enjoy our vacations to Florida each spring, which typically include time spent at the beach or pool, a little golf, some shopping, and many strawberry margaritas.
