  • Inventory Control Analyst
  • Yes, I'm always this quiet.
  • I was a four year, three sport varsity letter winner in high school.
  • Once was hit by car and thrown head first into a guardrail while riding my bicycle...but still managed to make it to little league practice.

As a Shipping Associate and Driver for ISI, I am responsible for the inventory and product movement between our manufacturing plant and our off-site warehouse. I help coordinate these moves, with every department, to make sure they have the product here when they need it. I also help make sure product is here on time for the various jobs shipping out in a certain week.

If I see a problem, I alert procurement to see what needs to be done to get it here on time. It has really helped our non-shipped product, and I enjoy trying to get every job 100% complete. I enjoy interacting with all the supervisors. It gives me a chance to see how each department works. I'm always amazed at the finished products that come out of production. We have some very

skilled craftsmen working at ISI, and I'm envious of their talents. I also enjoy dealing with the local out-source vendors that we have. I initially had an interest in drafting and engineering in high school. I started taking classes in architectural and mechanical drafting and CAD. However, instead of school, I spent 20 years driving truck for my

family's business, putting on almost 2 million accident free miles. Although I enjoyed the freedom and independence, I enjoy the more structured job I now have. Over the years, I've started and ran three businesses at one time. I was responsible for managing 29 employees as well as running day-to-day operations myself.

Hard working, inquisitive, fiscally responsible, dedicated and creative are a few words that describe me. I developed some great qualities that have stayed with me since a young age. I may be a bit on the quiet side, but that doesn't prevent me from having a great sense of humor. I think I've outgrown the mischievous side, though.

I grew up on a large dairy farm where I learned that you make the most of what you have, which usually translates to long hours and hard work. But I wouldn't trade that experience for anything.

I have two beautiful and wonderful children, a boy and a girl, both in their teens. Fortunately for me, they didn't possess the same qualities as I did in my early life, but I'm realizing each is developing their own great qualities as they get older. I'm also quickly discovering how lame it is to hang out with dad too much anymore.

When not working at ISI, I enjoy spending time with my family, my girlfriend Jill and friends. I like staying busy. If I get up later than eight in the morning, I feel like half my day is wasted. I enjoy working in my workshop, camping, fishing or just hanging out around a good fire.
